Information about the disposal of the non-household waste
25 July, 2025
Recently, construction and renovaion waste, old furniture and items, and used tires are increasingly found near waste containers across the capital. Naturally, renovation work intensifies during the summer, making the situation especially challenging in this season.

Disposing construction waste in containers causes internal damage to garbage trucks, the repair of which is both time-consuming and cost-intensive. When special equipment breaks down, it delays the waste collection process.

We emcourage residents to take into account the above+ information and not to place non- household waste illegally, and let’s take care of the environment, our city, and the neighborhood we live together. Also, please consider that cardboard boxes and packaging waste are folded or cut before placing them in containers to prevent overflowing.

Placing construction/inert waste, old furniture, and items in or near containers designated for household waste is strictly prohibited. This action is considered an administrative offense and is subject to a monetary fine. You can use a convenient service instead: this type of waste can be placed within the red lines of the residential yard or, in the case of a “Tbilisi Yard,” anywhere within the yard territory, and Tbilservice Group staff will collect it within 72 hours at a discounted rate.

Additionally, in the Gldani district, near the 15th kilometer of the Tbilisi Bypass Road, there is a designated site for construction/inert waste, where both individuals and legal entities can legally dispose of such waste. The disposal fees are based on the vehicle’s load capacity.
