The streets of the capital are washed daily with special equipment. This time, Kostava street, Melikishvili and Rustaveli avenues, as well as nearby underground passages and containers were washed away.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze got acquainted with the working process together with Deputy Mayor Andria Basilaia and Director of "Tbilservice Group", Davit Pachulia.

"On hot summer days, we started washing the streets intensively. These works will continue throughout the city on a daily basis. Central streets in all districts will be cleaned, as well as underground passages, waste collection containers and the area where these bins are located. It is very important that our city is clean and orderly", said Kakha Kaladze.

"Tbilservice Group" LLC systematically washes about 100 streets, underpasses and garbage containers.

Today, the roadway was washed away in the vicinity of Heroes' Square, in Gldani district, on Vekua and Khizanishvili streets, as well as on King Pharnavaz avenue in Didi Dighomi.

Throughout the capital, washing works on different streets start every day at one o'clock in the morning and continue until 06:30 in the morning. Up to 20 units of different types of special equipment are involved in the work process.
