15 February, 2024
Plans are underway for the rehabilitation of the existing waste transfer station located on Beliashvili Street. Tbilservice Group has signed the corresponding agreement with the winning tender company to initiate the project.
Over the course of a year, the contractor will be responsible for both the design and execution of the construction works. The objective of this project is to transform the existing station into an environmentally safe, modern, and logistically efficient facility for waste management in the capital.
The revamped station will feature cylindrical devices equipped with a pressing mechanism, aimed at significantly accelerating and streamlining the waste handling process. This upgrade will enhance the efficiency of waste transportation and help minimize odors. Additionally, the project includes the establishment of a modern laundry, parking facilities for special equipment, and all necessary infrastructure.
The project is estimated to cost 4,409,660 euros and is being financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
