A cleanup event was held near Makhata Mountain
13 September, 2024
A cleanup event was held in the Chughureti district, near Makhata Mountain. The green area was cleared of household waste. Additionally, employees of Tbilservice Group used special equipment to remove illegally dumped construction waste near the containers and disposed of old furniture.
The event was attended by the director of Tbilservice Group, Davit Pachulia, along with other employees.
"We urge residents not to litter such recreational spaces, not to leave construction waste or old furniture near dumpsters, on the streets, or in the city's outskirts. Unfortunately, such cases are very common in the Chughureti district. In Gldani district, near the 15th kilometer of the Tbilisi bypass road, there is a functioning inert waste landfill where any individual or legal entity can legally dispose of construction waste and old items," noted Davit Pachulia.
The disposal fees for construction waste at the Gldani site are determined based on the vehicle's load capacity:
From 1 to 5 tons - 9 GEL;
From 5 to 10 tons - 18 GEL;
More than 10 tons - 30.6 GEL.
